Glitch Softcore - Gallery Version2027
Glitch Softcore (gallery version) questions our relationship with vanishing natural spaces, particularly glaciers, and explores power structures between humans and these icy landscapes. In this exhibition, glaciers—the disappearing entities at the heart of the work—are given a central focus and are transformed into an artistic homage.
The gallery version is created in collaboration with artist Ivan Minichiello, who is also involved in the stage production as a scenographer. Sound compositions by Paris-based sound artist Léa Jullien, created in collaboration with Lucerne-based pianist Raphael Loher, are incorporated into the gallery version. The work is further complemented by artistic footage created during the research process on and around a glacier with the artistic team, filmed by Graubünden-based filmmaker Aline Bavier and Zurich filmed Michelle Ettlin.
Materials emerging from the research are brought together, expanded, and developed into a multisensory installation and exhibition.
